iPrimus Platinum is available as a standalone telephony service on a 12 month contract or as a bundled telephony & broadband service on a 24 month contract. Not available in all areas or to all customers. Early termination fees apply. Accounts must be paid by direct debit. If iPrimus allows you to pay by another method, a $2.50/bill administration fee applies.
iPrimus Platinum may be used only for normal personal domestic use and not for any business or other non domestic purpose. Limit of one iPrimus Platinum service for each customer and for each customer premises.
The iPrimus Platinum Telephony service includes:
- Home phone line rental
- Local calls to fixed lines^
- National long distance calls to fixed lines at a flat rate of 50c plus 39c flagfall
- Calls to iPrimus mobiles at $0.89 for the first 20 minutes (includes a 39 cent flagfall), then 20 cents per minute
- Calls to other Australian Mobiles at $1.89 for the first 20 minutes (includes a 39 cent flagfall), then 60 cents per minute
- International call rates at the Standard Rates for the iPrimus Value and Family plans (click here)
^ Calls for normal personal domestic use only and subject to our right to prevent excessive use. Excessive use is defined as more than 350 local calls in a billing month (or alternatively if usage is such as to affect the iPrimus network or other users). If excessive use is established iPrimus may regard the usage as being other than for normal personal domestic use and we may on notice suspend the service. Excessive use for customers who signed up before 15/10/09 is the greater of 3 times the iPrimus customer average or the number of calls defined above.
All other call types charged at quoted rates.
Any included call value expires at the end of each month and is not refundable or transferable.
The bundled iPrimus Platinum service also includes:
- Broadband with no excess usage charges (data allowance depends on which Platinum Plan is selected)
- A modem ($9.95 modem delivery fee applies)
- No set up charge
Bundled iPrimus Platinum customers will receive iPrimus ADSL2+ if it is available at their location; otherwise alternative options will be given. The speed of the connection will vary and may be affected by customer location and equipment, the source of download and the level of internet traffic.
Data allowance includes uploads and downloads. After either the peak or off peak data allowance is reached (or if there is no peak / off peak split, after the data allowance is reached), connection reduced to dialup speed until the end of the billing cycle. Customers should monitor data usage through their iPrimus Account Toolbox.
